Ludwig "The Ace" Tenor Banjo Vintage 1920s

Vintage banjo circa 1920s, produced to commemorate Charles "The Ace"
Lindbergh
's first trans-Atlantic plane voyage.
Copious amounts of perloid (aka "mother of toilet seat") including headstock, back of neck, and back of resonator. Extensive checking throughout, which is to be expected.
Original tail piece is present, but broken in two pieces, which seems fairly common for banjos this old.
Unable to determine if the bridge is original or not.
Remo head is obviously not original.
Will ship in a modern banjo case.
Very cool conversation piece.
