This is a vintage Baldwin ODE Style C 5 string Banjo that is all original.  This has been fully inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description
Baldwin ODE was making the best banjos in the 1970's while Gibson Banjo Production was lacking in quality.  This is the style C which is very popular, all original and in great shape.
This has a thick multiply maple shell with nickel hardware.  The flange is a one piece flange and this has the original tone ring.  The neck is walnut and this has a rosewood resonator with some really nice grain.  The fretboard is rosewood with some gorgeous inlay work and the headstock has a rosewood veneer with the Baldwin ODE logo.  There is binding on each side of the neck.
These Baldwin ODE Banjos definitely have a following and they can be really hard to find.  This also includes the original case along with the original Paperwork.
Condition
This has been professionally cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  We disassembled the banjo and buffed all of the metal to a nice shine.  The wood and finish are in great shape and have also been cleaned and shined.  The fretboard is clean with frets that are almost perfect.  There is a hint of wear on the first few frets but that is it and this plays great!  There was once a 5th string capo which left a couple marks on the side of the neck which are almost invisible.  The banjo has spikes at the 7th-10th frets.  This is in great shape with a clean original case as well.
Set Up
This has been professionally set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  This has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is a Davis bridge and this is set with correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this plays great.  The banjo also is adjustable.
This is a classic American Made Banjo that is experiencing a surge in interest and popularity due to its high quality in production.
